These earrings feature natural solid Australian opals (these are not doublets) and iolite gemstones beneath them. These opals have different colors of flash at different angles and have a really nice glow to them. They and the 3mm iolite gemstones rest on hand sawed sterling backings with pure silver bezels. The silver has been patina darkened and sanded for contrast.

(These opals are a slightly larger size than the plain Australian marquise opal posts).

These will come on an earring card in a sweet little muslin bag.
