This necklace features a detailed and tightly webbed natural turquoise from the Damele mine and an equally detailed koroit opal to match. Both stones are high quality and will glow and flash in direct sunlight. They are set in gold fill bezels on a hand sawed sterling backing. The top portion is pure molten recycled sterling stamped with the word "CAVE". It is stamped obscurely so it can also appear like Norse runes from a distance. A serious collectible statement piece.

The pendant portion is 3" tall in total. Dark silver chain is 18".

The Damele Mine is located in east central Nevada near the Godber-Burnham Mine and Carico Lake Mine. It is also known as Damale, or Damaile. The mine itself is quite small, and also produces popular kinds of variscite and faustite (similar minerals to turquoise). The high zinc content makes all three stones types the bright, collectible green and yellow colours the Damele Mine is especially known for.
