The natural ribbon cut deep forest green Royston turquoise acts as a center piece for this massive statement necklace. Hand carved locally found wampum and natural green Manassa mine turquoise join the ribbon turquoise. The lung shape is made of molten recycled sterling and fine silver; a reminder to breath and take it easy. All of the silver has been stamped, filed, patina darkened, and sanded for detail and contrast. Weaver patterns are stamped along the back of the necklace made with ethically sourced soft deer hide from the local powwow (and yes! the color is that saturated and intense). For lovers of the Eastern Woodlands- this piece is hefty and everlasting with the proper care.

Measurements:
The necklace is 16". The full length of the pendant portion is 4". Necklace length cannot be adjusted.

*The deer hide I use I cut from full hides acquired from my local annual powwow where every part of the beautiful creature is used and not hunted for sport/trophy. The leather is high quality and doesn't flake like many commercial leathers - however please take care when wearing this as with all leather jewelry. Do not wear in the shower, pool, or during any other kind of wet activities.
