Turtles have been major influences in mythology and origin stories for hundreds of years. They are one of the oldest symbols to represent the Earth. One of my favourite origin stories comes from the Seneca Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). When Mother Sky fell, the great Turtle rose from the waters to break her fall. 

This Turtle ring features a natural quality piece of Royston turquoise from Nevada. Its patterns and colors look topographical. Set in a fine silver bezel with sterling silver construction. The silver has been patina darkened and sanded in places for maximum contrast. One of a kind.

Measurements:

This ring will fit a US size 8, and cannot be resized. Turtle is roughly 2" tall. Ring band is 1/2" wide in back.
