This necklace features a stunning natural black opal from NSW, Australia (solid, not a doublet!). This piece absolutely beams in direct sunlight, and indoors will glow a deep blue. The backing is sterling so the colors of the semi-transparent opal glow true. Chain is .7mm 14 karat yellow gold with spring clasp (pendant only option available). Pendant is a hair under 1/2” tall in total. A beautiful small but sturdy statement piece that can be worn daily or for special events. This opal is one of a kind.
